Why a fresh VM for every job

Every job starts in a new macOS virtual machine. When the job ends, that VM is destroyed. Files, secrets, and caches from one job do not carry into the next.

The default runner size 1x is 4 vCPU / 8 GiB RAM. Billing is per second with no minimum; see the pricing page for rates.
